Internet culture often features a ‘Karen’ as the stereotypical female antagonist. These righteously annoyed middle-aged white women enjoy coupons, reverse mullet bobs and most importantly speaking to the manager.
Male Karens are not as well-known as their female counterparts. While there have been plenty of threads about Ken and Kyle, we rarely come across mention of a male Karen on Reddit.
What is a Karen?
Karen is a derogatory term for an arrogant, entitled and often racist middle-aged white woman who uses her privilege to get what they want or control other people’s behaviors. The name has become increasingly popular on social media platforms due to memes featuring it.
Many have decried the term as sexist and reflective of the discriminatory and privileged nature of the “boomer generation,” according to Nina Burleigh of BuzzFeed News. According to Burleigh, women who identify themselves as Karens are seen as beneficiaries from the system that boomers created for them.
It can be challenging to know the type of person you will encounter when speaking with a Karen. Whether the issue at hand involves racism, selfishness or excessive demands on your time, the best approach is to remain composed, polite and genuine while trying to reach an agreement.
When encountering bullying behavior in public, take a moment to observe around and see if anyone else is suffering from the same pattern of treatment. You might be able to identify who the aggressor is by their facial expressions or body language, giving you insight into how best to approach them.

Male Karens are an equally rare phenomenon, though they do exist. Unlike female Karens, male Karens cannot easily be distinguished by their haircuts or body types; all that distinguish them is white skin, a heavy build, an American passport (maybe), and potential affiliation with alt-right groups.
Some have even dubbed male Karens “the next ‘Karen in chief'” and anticipate this trend will only grow larger as awareness spreads. Indeed, there is even a subreddit dedicated solely to this topic with an average monthly post count of several hundreds.

Ken is a kind and understanding individual who strives to be an excellent friend to those around him. He often serves as Valt’s mentor, offering assistance when needed and being willing to help solve his problems. Furthermore, Ken’s protective nature towards his family members shows through; always making sure they remain safe from harm.
He exudes confidence, often standing up for himself when others get hurt. Additionally, his loyalty and kind nature make him an excellent role model for other kids.
Roblox features him as one of the main characters in a group called Team Beasts, having been since episode 13. As their oldest member, he brings with him years of experience playing the game and serves as an excellent leader who helps new players navigate it successfully.
Team Beasts should consider him an ideal pick. He is an impressive fighter with the potential to deal massive amounts of damage and move quickly. Additionally, his tank capabilities allow him to keep up with most teams in the game.
Ken can be a bit of a challenge to take down, though if you’re patient and possess the right build, Ken could make an excellent addition to any team.
