Real-life rude Karens are all over social media, but this time they’ve been caught on camera. In a popular TikTok video, a family took their elderly grandmother to a restaurant where the staff are purposely rude to customers.
They were appalled at how they were treated. The chain responded, noting it is unfortunate that some customers need reminding about proper behavior and they strongly support putting up house rules.
1. A woman spitting on a man
Karens (or “KayAnns”) have been caught on camera engaging in an array of bizarre behaviors that would make most cringe. It’s become something of a cultural phenomenon that sometimes appears to be an art form, but these days it seems to be garnering plenty of attention.
On Monday, authorities in California reported that a woman was arrested for spitting on a man as he dined outside a restaurant last month. This shocking incident was captured on Facebook video.
Karen Inman, identified as Karen Inman, was accused of shouting an ethnic slur and telling the man to return home during lunch in Mountain View, California. On Monday afternoon, Santa Clara County prosecutors charged her with a misdemeanor hate crime for her actions.
According to NBC News, Inman first came under police scrutiny when she allegedly stole food and clothing from a store in Mountain View the day before she spat on the man. When officers saw her walking through downtown Mountain View that afternoon, they stopped her and held her for questioning.
Prosecutors say they were able to obtain a description of her and learn she had been accused of spitting on a restaurant nearby. This eatery is situated close to where the woman had allegedly been stealing items earlier in the day from a market.
But her actions weren’t limited to dining; police have also begun investigating her for spitting on a motorist during a road rage incident in Naples on Friday. According to police, the woman filed a police report just two hours after the incident occurred, according to NBC News.
Though this incident is an isolated instance, it serves as a testament to an increasingly troubling trend on social media. The videos serve as reminders that no matter our best intentions, someone out there always seeks an opportunity for conflict.
Though we can’t stop these incidents from occurring, we hope people will take time to be mindful of their actions and consider how they might impact others before taking any action. It’s also essential to remember that there are plenty of good people in this world who won’t become targets for malicious thugs and are likely much happier living their lives as normal.
2. A woman threatening to get the cops involved
Karens are a dime a dozen in the world of entitlement, but this Dallasiite took it to another level. This ebony-clad lady was determined to make her presence known by threatening police involvement in an otherwise minor incident — even throwing some of her own money at a cop – which is always the final touch for an overly brazen and entitled jerk.
What’s best of all? She achieved it all without any flashy makeup or accessories.
She was an admirable presence in her own right, but she also made sure everyone at her local mall knew who she was by making a list of what she wanted to order and doing the research to know exactly how to order it. Such meticulous care to detail made her the envy of everyone at the establishment.
In the end, she got what she desired – and some of it deservedly.

Manigault-Stallworth was a contestant on the reality show The Apprentice, popularized by President Donald Trump. She quickly earned national disdain for her aggressive, rude behavior and sexist remarks.
She is the embodiment of the “Angry Black Woman,” a stereotype popularized by Hollywood and television. She’s an uptight, loud-mouthed nagger who takes great offense when people insult or disrespect her, with particular animosity directed toward African American men.
During the Jim Crow era, black women were encouraged to portray themselves as sassiness-loving Mammies in order to defy some of the more oppressive racial restrictions they faced. But when this behavior became so extreme that it became harmful, it was outlawed.

On Sunday, Reddit users witnessed a video of a Black man working at an apartment complex in Nashville being confronted by a white woman and her son. The woman claims Martinez is trespassing on their property; however, Martinez maintains he was only checking permits at the building and wasn’t living there.
After they continue to shout at him, he tells them it’s none of their business and that he doesn’t owes them an explanation for being there. The woman’s son then asks if he has any identification; Martinez replies that a badge hangs from his neck.
The woman and her son then follow him to the staircase, where he shouts that he wants to call the police. Additionally, he tells her that neither she nor he must answer for anything; eventually, she calls the cops.
4. A woman walking her dog in Central Park
