Karen has been around for decades, but its use as a verb to signify sexism and racism in America is increasingly being challenged.

In particular, the phrase has been used to refer to a white woman who is seen as entitled and demanding beyond what is expected. This includes acts such as demanding to speak to the manager or being racist.

Lisa Rinna Says She’s Being Silenced by QVC Over Her Political Beliefs

Lisa Rinna is no slouch when it comes to speaking out on issues that matter to her. As one of the most vocal Housewives stars, she’s been an outspoken supporter of movements like Black Lives Matter and LGBTQ rights, often using social media platforms such as Instagram to bring awareness to important issues.

However, she claims QVC has muzzled her for speaking out about politics. She claims many “Karens” have called the network to express their displeasure with her statements and threatened not to buy from her clothing line if she continued speaking out on these subjects.

In an Instagram Story that has since been deleted, Rinna claimed the shopping network ordered her to cease all political discussions or risk losing sales of her Lisa Rinna Collection. Since 2012, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has exclusively sold her clothing line on the televised shopping channel.

On Wednesday, Rinna posted a series of comments to her Instagram Stories in which she stated she would no longer be discussing her political opinions on the site or social media channels after numerous “Karens” called the company to complain about what she had posted. Additionally, she shared a meme outlining her beliefs regarding climate change, women’s rights and equality – encouraging fans to use their voices and vote for candidates they want in office.

She promised to remain on the right side of history despite being silenced by the shopping network. Her post concluded with the phrase, “Use your voice and vote.”

Rinna’s comments were quickly taken down, but her supporters responded positively to her message. Many expressed support for her politics while others were confused as to why the shopping network had muzzled her.

According to People magazine, Rinna has been selling her Lisa Rinna Collection on QVC since 2012 and has seen great success with it. Her line offers a variety of comfortable yet chic styles for both women and girls.

However, if Rinna isn’t allowed to express her political opinions on social media or her website, then she will need to find another outlet for selling her clothes. The 56-year-old actress is reported upset that QVC has muzzled her when it comes to posting political content online or via social media platforms. In response, several “Karens” have called the company with complaints about Rinna’s statements and threatened to get her fired for them.

Amy Cooper Calls Police on Black Man for Curbing Her Dog

One of the most controversial videos to hit social media this week was a confrontation between a white woman and black man in Central Park. In the video, she is seen walking her dog off-leash in Ramble, an isolated area popular with bird watchers in Central Park. This goes against park rules in Ramble.

Christian Cooper approached a woman whose dog had wandered off-leash, and politely requested she put it back on its leash. He explained the park regulations which stated all dogs must remain leashed at all times in The Ramble. To further encourage those with dogs who become unleashed to stay within their boundaries, Christian pulled out treats he keeps around as an incentive.

But when Amy Cooper saw him carrying treats, she became furious and threatened to call the police on him. She yelled at him not to come near her dog, while he recorded every word of their exchange.

The video went viral and sparked an intense online debate, with many calling for her job loss or accusing her of borderline hate crime. She’s since apologized for the incident and claims that people’s reactions are ruining her “entire life”.

Amy Cooper, also known by her initials, had charges against her dropped after she completed five therapy sessions for introspection and progress. Her case is considered a misdemeanor and prosecutors wanted the charges against her dismissed once she completed those five sessions of introspection and growth.

According to The New York Post, charges against Cooper were dismissed after she agreed to join a program for first-time offenders facing misdemeanor charges. On Tuesday afternoon, Assistant Manhattan D.A. Joan Illuzzi-Orbon informed reporters that her case would be dismissed if she agreed to undergo five sessions of therapy.

On Monday morning, Christian Cooper, not related to Christian Cooper, was strolling through Central Park when he noticed her dog off-leash and running through bushes. When asked for his assistance in keeping her pup contained, she refused and began shouting at him to keep away – to which he quickly responded by reminding her it’s against the law for dogs to run loose in this area.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Star Says She’s Being “Muzzled” by QVC Over Her Political Beliefs

Lisa Rinna of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills claims she’s been muzzled by QVC over her political beliefs. She states that several “Karens” visited the television shopping network and voiced complaints about her social media posts. Rinna launched her name-brand clothing line in 2012 and sells it exclusively on the QVC shopping network. Her collection offers loungewear as well as pieces perfect for formal events.

She has posted numerous comments on her Instagram stories and Facebook page in support of various causes, such as Black Lives Matter, LGBTQIA rights, climate change activists and women’s equality. Furthermore, she has spoken out about her love of immigrants and “kindness”.
